For well over a year we have been focussing our thoughts on the short three-chapter prophecy of Habakkuk on a weekly basis. For those who have faithfully followed the series of studies,’ Looking at Habakkuk’, I trust you have learned something about this man of God and have been blessed each week. If you have not been aware of the series and would like to follow the study, please click on this link.
So where do we go from here?
What’s Following Habakkuk?
For the next two months, I am acting as a local preacher for my colleague Rev Warren Muller of St Martin’s Presbyterian Church, Kabega Park, Gqeberha, who is taking extended leave. We have agreed that I should take a series of messages based on a number of folks who had personal encounters with Jesus during His three-year ministry.
With this in mind, I believe that I should share my material with a wider audience via this page. So for the next few months, we shall be looking at individuals such as Nathanael, Zacchaeus, Nicodemus, Matthew, Mary sister of Martha and Lazarus, the adulterous woman, to name a few.
Encounters with Jesus
Please join me as we examine the lives of some of those who had personal encounters with Jesus and note the changes that the encounter had on their lives. Jesus can change your life in the same way.
This coming Sunday is Pentecost Sunday so that makes it a good place to start. We will look at one hundred and twenty people who shared amazing encounters with Jesus, even after His ascension into Heaven!
Please move to the first session of this series, A Family Heirloom.
